Totally independent in a shy, diffident but always individual way. He was never cynical or cruel to people except at the 'killer moment' when he would make a comment so funny, evil but apposite.  |
| Harold "Stan-uth". I was never sure of the spelling of his surname. Employed as a Blacksmith. He made replacement parts for heavy machinery. The processeses in the factory, using heat, caustic chemicals and brute force meant that the parts carrying or holding the product wore out quickly. |
