Two of the Ash family, 25 year old head of family Thomas and his 18 year old brother John are "journeyman tailors" as is a 27 year old boarder,  Walter Davis. Walter is relatively local, from Kington, Herefordshire while the Ash brothers were born in Tiverton, Devon.

23, Bell Lane
Seven people named Badland live at 23 Bell Lane and they probably moved to Ludlow after 1891.
Mrs Mary Badland was born in 1852, at either Gravel Hill (Ludlow) or Grinshill, Salop. Husband George may have been born in Rock, Worcestershire (the writing is not clear) in 1850.
She had five surviving children of seven born: George, Thomas, May and Charles. The couple were married in 1880 and lived in Ludlow where George was born a year later before moving to Richards Castle before 1886. Four of the five children aged 30, 25, 21 and 19, still live at home and are all working as warehouse man, cabinetmaker, dressmaker and grocer respectively.
The three-year-old grandchild, Ernest Leonard, born in Ludlow, could be the son of the absent child, or the child of one of the four living at home.

24 Bell Lane
Four of the Bowyer family lived at 24 Bell Lane. Elizabeth 52, born locally in Norbury in 1859 is nine years older than her husband Richard who was born in Bishops Castle. They have been married since 1890 and have no children. He is employed as a "coal porter".
His 77 year old pensioner uncle, presumably his father's brother Richard Bowyer, lives with them. He was born in Lydbury North.
13 year old Jane Elizabeth Groves, like her aunt born in Norbury, is staying with them.
